ABOUT MALLORY
For over 15 years, Mallory Markham-Miller has been fully immersed in the performing arts industry. Both on stage and off, she understands the demands of arts organizations big and small.
With 7+ years of nonprofit arts administration experience, Mallory has managed the complex inner workings of multiple nationally recognized dance companies. Her expertise includes successfully navigating crises—such as pivoting companies to robust online offerings during the COVID-19 lockdown—and scaling operations through targeted grant writing and private donor initiatives. Her nonprofit experience is complemented by her previous administrative role at Airbnb, where she also collaborated with the company’s dance@ program to bridge the tech and dance arts communities.
As a professional dancer, she has performed and collaborated with a wide range of companies, including Robert Moses' Kin, Amy Seiwert, Garrett + Moulton Productions, The Anata Project, Nina Haft and Company, Kristin Damrow and Company, RAWdance, ka.nei.see|collective, and more. Mallory has performed at a variety of festivals such as West Wave, Seattle Dance Festival, Aspen Fringe Festival, and CONCEPT series.
In addition to her work in administration and performance, Mallory is a dedicated Pilates and dance teacher, focused on building sustainable movement through somatic practice.
